So, I've been thinking... it's almost summer now, right? Which means I've been here [a pause for him to count] I dunno, a really long time. Not as long as a lot of other people, obviously, but still. I guess I kinda forget sometimes.

[there's the rustle of a breeze in the background. Somebody's sitting by the window.] But man, the weather's been awesome the past couple days. I've been stuck inside way too long, I kinda want to go into town or something today. Anybody wanna come with me?

Eight months, I think. [according to everyone else, anyway.] It's not that long, I guess, but it's longer than a whole lot of other people.

And there's a whole bunch of stuff! I usually go there to eat, but there's other things to do, too.

Eight months doesn't count as long here? Last I checked, spending the better part of a year away from home qualified as a long time.

Alright, I guess. But the castle can pretty much provide whatever you can get in town without you having to leave your room, can't it?
