[Private]
[written] Dwarven Vow #2: Never abandon someone in need.
[there's a pause, and he taps the pen for a few seconds before sighing a bit.]
... I really hope you're right, Dad.

[Kratos]
I'm done.

So, I've been thinking... it's almost summer now, right? Which means I've been here [a pause for him to count] I dunno, a really long time. Not as long as a lot of other people, obviously, but still. I guess I kinda forget sometimes.
[there's the rustle of a breeze in the background. Somebody's sitting by the window.] But man, the weather's been awesome the past couple days. I've been stuck inside way too long, I kinda want to go into town or something today. Anybody wanna come with me?

[she has her thumb on the page on which she's talking to Lloyd, flipping back a little to get the facts straight]
Yeah, the day after I did. Means it's been eight months on the dot for you.

[and a thoughtful pause]
Have you grown to like it here? Or is it still boring?

[Lloyd]
[a long pause]
... Thank you, Lloyd.

[Kratos]
... You're welcome. [tap tap tap] I put on the finishing touches this morning, so you can come get it whenever.

[Lloyd]
Are you free now?
no subject
[Kratos]
Yeah, sure. I'm not really doing anything yet, anyway.

Just wondering, what's in the town that's worth going in for?
no subject
And there's a whole bunch of stuff! I usually go there to eat, but there's other things to do, too.
no subject
Alright, I guess. But the castle can pretty much provide whatever you can get in town without you having to leave your room, can't it?
no subject
... If you really wanted it to, I guess. That sounds kind of boring to me, though.
