Two weeks now. Feels like two years. It was bad enough when Longshot went, I'm not used to missing him. But now... Now I'm all alone.

It's not supposed to be like this. We're supposed to be together, all of us, not scattered in different worlds and times. We got a second chance, and I'll always be grateful. It's just. Sometimes I'm not so sure it was worth it. Maybe it'd be better if I'd never seen them again, lost them once and for all and not have had to-

I don't know. What would Jet do if he was the one left? What'd Longshot do?

...Not sit around in the hideout whining about how lonely they were, that's for sure.

This is stupid. So what if I'm the last of us here? Doesn't make me less of a Freedom Fighter. Even if the guys aren't here, I've got what they taught me. I've got my skills and my experience and my memories. I'll always remember. They will, too. Wherever they are.

Besides, if they do come back and find out I've done nothing but mope around, I'l be hearing it forever. Yeah. I've got stuff to live up to. Great stuff.

And... There's Jun. And Cass. And Rin. ..I think, anyway.

I'm not really alone. It just feels that way.

[a while later; a thud as she puts a small bag down on her bed in her room at the castle, and some flipping of pages. then a sigh. Paradisa is the same as always]

Anyone else feeling like their going home is long overdue? It was okay at first, but now...

[she sees the little carved item on her desk, and she moves her feet off the table to look closer at it, her lips curling at the sight.] ...did you make this yourself, Shorts?

The Earth Kingdom's, uh... Different? Depends on where you are. I'm from the woods in the western parts. It's a good place.

Oh the woods, that sounds cool. Did you have a tree house? Misa is from Tokyo, it's a huge city, but I used to be from another city that was known for its temples and history.

Um, Earth is really big and different depending on where you are. Misa is from the country Japan. It's an island.
