[Kushina is waiting out front of the castle for Minato. He said he'd be back today, didn't he? She wasn't going to waste a second in the castle while he got to her room. So she waited, and waited, and-

Hey! Was that blonde hair she saw? And maybe a white coat too? Definitely! Before she could hesitate any more, Kushina was off running towards the figure. It had to be him.]

[OOC: Back-dated to this morning when Naruto and Minato arrived back from the trip. :] Yay for backtagging!]

[Walking. He was really tired of walking. But getting towards the castle and seeing Kushina waiting makes him... far too happy for words, so he runs as quick as he can - WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS SUPER FAST - to grab her in a tight hug. SQUEEZE.]

[YAY, hugs! She grabs on to him as tight as she can, smiling wide the entire time, even laughing a little.] Some one's excited to see me~.

[Placing kisses... everywhere he can... that is appropriate, mind you >>] It's been a while. What can I say?

[She's giggling even more now because of that.] That's right, a c-couple months! [Trying so very hard to speak through the relieved laughter. At least until she sees the person nearby that looks familiar yet not. She's stuck staring now, no longer noticing the attention.] Who's this?

[he was sort of hiding behind Minato until now because he doesn't want to freak her out since this is completely different than the last time she was here; he smiles a bit awkwardly because he's nervous :( and raises a hand in a weird wave]

U-Um... I'm... Naruto...?

[fff, let's go of her finally, blushing a little since he'd totally forgotten Naruto was there for a minute :( SORRY SON. Coughs and smiles a little.]

He's usually much more sure of himself.

Naruto? [She pauses.] Our son Naruto? [Minato had said he was seventeen but gosh, really? She's staring at him now, looking between both Minato and Naruto, smile widening when she sees the similarities. Awkward? Yes, definitely awkward, but she'll be damned if that stops her. Because in five, four, three, two, one: she's launching herself at him to hug him even though he's actually a little taller than she is.] No way!

[aosidhaiods he hadn't seen that coming but accepts it, bright red in the cheeks but is beyond happy right now with both of them here... hugging his MOM of all people; he chuckles a bit at her reaction, his arms going in for a hug too, SQUEEEEEEZING]

What, I'm not a spitting image of you or anything~?

[GRINNING HAPPILY. This is... much better than last time. MUCH.]

You might want to allow each other to breathe eventually. [ONE TO TALK >>]

Yeah, yeah. [She rolls her eyes at Minato but ends up looking at Naruto for most of it.] Hell no, but you got the important part of me! It'd be boring if you were exactly like your father~. [She's smiling wide the whole time, hugging him really tight for another long moment until she pulls back, looking between them again and feeling really excited and happy.] I never would have thought this could happen in a million lifetimes.

Yeah, I'd rather not be a nerd, thanks. [FFF he's kidding and just ends up grinning exactly like Minato rofl, punching him in the arm playfully while beaming at Kushina]

Me neither! Until I came here, at least. There's so much I have to tell you and ask you! Even if you were here once before, it still wasn't enough time and stuff, you know? [okay he's not as nervous anymore B|]

[FF, shoves him gently 8|] And he'd be much more disciplined and less likely to get himself killed. Yes, yes, very boring.

[Her attention was caught about asking question and she cocks her head to the side, confused.] You mean you haven't asked me anything when we're home~?

[oh crap... that slipped out]

Uh... well... I mean! A-About other things! [asdhasoih NARUTO FAILS AT LYING; DAD, HELP]

[sigh. he'd face palm but he's just shaking his head instead.]

Given that Naruto is so far in the future from y--us, he likely has more things to tell than ask. And if he's anything like you, he probably hasn't inquired much about your past back home - being the present moment people you two are. Maybe you being so young here will push him to do just that.
