Pedwar: The Hub

[Ianto sat on the sofa in the mostly empty Torchwood Hub, leaning back and staring at the ceiling, there were no archives to be sorted, the place was spotless, nothing needed repairing because there was nothing there yet, he'd sorted out the coffees that he had brought in that morning alphabetically already.

Myfanwy had been fed and was quite content if that sated squawk was anything to go by. Although she had given him a nuzzle this morning in greeting which was rather nice.

Frankly he was bored, he sat up running a hand over his face before looking down at his open journal and picking it up and tapping his fountain pen on the paper, watching the ink spread along the tiny striations in the paper.]

Not much to do in a mostly empty building.

What I wouldn't give for a weevil right now.

[here have Jack banging with the heel of his hand, the sliding door that just got stuck halfway open before it finally shuts the rest of the way. He picks up the box of... well who knows what is inside of it but they're slowly filling the Hub with stuff. After all two couches a Hub doesn't make]

It's creepy right? All echo-y sounding?



[ooc: just fyi I figure it'll take them 2-4 months to get the Hub fully stocked. Jack just got the building like a week ago so it's basically empty except two couches and the boxes of things Jack and everyone keeps bringing in]

Myfanwy doesn't seem to mind it, it will be better when we have everyone in it again.

Well so far the only one I haven't gotten around to giving the makeshift tour to is Gwen. I figure I'll kidnap her from her library sessions and drag her to the building later today. Show her our couches and table.

[ooc: it's not a worry just one of those things that can't be magically done since it's not actually in the castle plus it'll give them something to do for a while]
