{ Gladdened that the rain has finally ceased, Alucard is outside practicing sword forms -- just in case he should need to use them again. He is more comfortable in the clothing of his youth than in a more modern suit, so he is once again dressed in cape and coat. }

[Sabata was out taking his brother's cats outside since they're so damn fidgety. B| He's just sitting and watching Alucard as well as keeping an eye on the cats. He's sorta impressed.]

... Don't you find that cape much of a burden when practicing like that? Seems impractical.

In the time I grew up in, this is the the attire a nobleman would wear while swordfighting. So one had to train with it on.

Hmm. I don't see many guns, but I don't think I've ever seen one quite like that.

They say that with guns, swords are useless... because of course a sword cannot stop a bullet.

[Heh!] Depends what kind of ammunition the gun requires, of course. I've battled with sword users, and there were times my shots had been deflected by swords.

So it maybe true, but it's possible to cut metal with metal with the right timing.
