Well, it's hard to explain. They kinda take away the barriers in your mind that were stopping you from using the powers. Like unlocking a door.

Alright, let's see. I can do...PSI Fire, Freeze, Ground and Thunder for the offensive stuff. Hypnosis, Brainshock and Paralysis for affecting enemies. And...Lifeup and Healing for helpin' others out. Then there's PSI Magnet, Offense Down, Defense Down, and...
