[Kratos isn't doing anything particularly interesting as usual, just sitting in the field under the stars with a fuzzy green and mint puppy in his arms. Occasionally, the pup gets a little tired... then perks back up and licks lazily at Kratos' face.]

[Well, someone else wasn't doing anything particularly interesting, and decided to wander around outside. It's only the fact that Kratos is talking that probably stops him from literally tripping over him. He'll laugh sheepishly and then, decide he might as well interrupt him now~]

...Are you counting the stars?

[is out and about, and is happy to see a Kratos. For a moment she thinks he's playing with a little Noishe, but realizes the difference in a moment. She smiles and walks over, probably not realizing he's counting]

[sup, someone is taking a stroll and hears that counting... so she wanders over]

[He pauses. Dryly:]

Are you enjoying yourself?

[Iota wakes up a bit, big rabbitlike ears perking toward the source of the childlike voice. He squirms out of Kratos' arms and wobbles in that direction.]

[Good job, Yuuri.]

Possibly.

[He sounds rather uninterested in anything. This, however, is his default mode. The Noishe-puppy perks, though, and goes to sniff the boy's leg.]

[It's okay, he's not particularly invested in it.]

[Sup, Teresa. Kratos spares her a glance.]

Good evening.

[The puppy in his arms jerks awake at a new presence and sniffs.]

[Allen is walking back from the city after a night of cheating at cards. He's quietly humming to himself a pretty yet slightly eerie tune]

[Well, he's met people like him before, so it doesn't bother him at all. The puppy catches his attention, so he'll kneel down and hold out his hand for sniffing instead]

[The wee one is sort of tired, but hey, new person! So he stretches out of Kratos' arms as faaaar as he can and continues to sniff. He's not sure what to make of that smell.]

Nothing in particular. The castle is quieter than usual, but not enough.

[Nice occupation there, Allen. Anyway... Kratos picks up the sound of humming and glances toward the pale-haired boy.]

[Wonder if Allen will even see him. Kratos isn't exactly brightly-colored.]

[Iota decides he's not afraid and nuzzles the proffered hand. Wet nose!]

To distract oneself, perhaps.

[CUTE PUPPY perks up at Colette being there, and licks her face without asking!]

I am. And yourself?

[He laughs again and decides that it won't be scared if he tries to put him and does so]

Mm, what's his name? Or her. They're really cute. [Slight pause] I guess that makes sense, not like you can run out of stars.

[It's a living. He stops the humming and looks around when he hears Kratos's voice. When he sees him, he gives a smile]

Ah, good evening, sir! I didn't realize anyone was out here.

[Well, Kratos doesn't exactly smell all the way human either, so Iota's slowly getting used to weird smells. He decides to lick the hand~]

Only the forest is adequate, but unfortunately hermitage is frowned upon these days.

[Iota whines and leans into the petting more. Out comes a pink tongue.]

His name is Iota. ... It works to a degree.

Traveling alone at night can be dangerous, even here. [Iota's ears perk. One of them tickles Kratos' nose. The puppy isn't doing much for his image.]

Didn't you know? Brooding isn't allowed, and if you wander off to be alone that must be what you're doing.
