Dear Leo,
It seems I've ended up in a strange place. Scratch that -- a strange world.
A castle called Paradisa. It takes something from you, yet at the same time gives you anything you ask for. Well almost anything. It won't give you back what it took, send you home, or bring people here.
Cinnamon was with me last I remember, but I can't find him anywhere. I'm afraid of what might happen to him. Already I've met several nice people -- Giselle, Coraline, and Mr. e'Drien. Giselle and Coraline are helping me look.
Oh, but I haven't met them face to face! I've only talked to them through these journals. They're magical, like everything else here. What do you think of that?
I personally don't care for it. It seems a bit too impersonal.
I know what you must be thinking, and the answer is yes -- I am nervous. Maybe even a little scared. But I won't let that get the best of me. Worrying won't do any good.
And Leo, I know you -- don't you worry about me either. I'll keep on writing this letter to you, and when I return home -- which I will -- I'll mail it to you so you can read all about my adventure.
I'm off to search for Cinnamon some more. Wish me luck.
