[Anne is up on the roof, looking down on the Gardens and surrounding area. Her mind is elsewhere though, deep in thought and wondering why God has chosen to spare her like this. There is so much she doesn't understand, although she has given the journal her full attention since she arrived and was given the explanation. She is more than a little overwhelmed by the information she has read, however she is quite well versed now. It pays to be prepared, and not to display shock as she did on her arrival.

She opens the journal and smiles.]

If I am to remain here, then an introduction would be appropriate, one can never have enough allies and friends. I am Anne Boleyn, former Queen of England, and it is a pleasure, I'm sure.

They dispute the standing of a Queen? I didn't know they could do such a thing, short of by an unconsummated marriage. Some people with power truly do think they can do anything. . .

My undoing was my own fault by deciding to take a stand for justice. Not nearly as. . . ridiculous as all that.

Justice has no place in my Henry's court, he takes what he pleases and disposes of that which he has tired. I was the King's second wife, he inherited his first from his dead brother, and now he seeks to rid himself of me too.

What time are you from Robin? That your good character should be your undoing?

And the Pope allows such a thing? No one, not even the King, would be allowed to make such a mockery of marriage vows back where I am from. The Church may have allowed him to put an end to his first marriage based on the scripture denying the union of a man with his brother's wife, but. . . That would have been the end of it.

1192, the reign of King Richard. Though he is currently off at war and his brother John is in power now. He and the Sheriff believe something much different than I do, and standing up for the rights of the people now brands you as an outlaw if you go against their word.

The pope does not, no, Henry took it upon himself to diassociate himself from Rome when the Pope denied him a divorce, he is now Head of the Church in England.

You are from a good deal earlier than me then sir. The year was 1536 when I arrived here. Ah the crusades, a time of unrest in England, although what time truly brings peace.
