[Anne is up on the roof, looking down on the Gardens and surrounding area. Her mind is elsewhere though, deep in thought and wondering why God has chosen to spare her like this. There is so much she doesn't understand, although she has given the journal her full attention since she arrived and was given the explanation. She is more than a little overwhelmed by the information she has read, however she is quite well versed now. It pays to be prepared, and not to display shock as she did on her arrival.

She opens the journal and smiles.]

If I am to remain here, then an introduction would be appropriate, one can never have enough allies and friends. I am Anne Boleyn, former Queen of England, and it is a pleasure, I'm sure.

Ah, I am to presume you are of some magical bent to escape such a predicament? I have read much of the journal, and know that these things are not unheard of, nor are such people burnt at the stake. Much is changed in this place, it would seem.

But of course. If it makes you feel any better, I much preferred you to that Seymour woman. She did make things terribly drab.

I am indeed, a demon, to be precise. They'd have a bit of a job catching me for the stake burnings. I was very good at blending in with humanity.

She has the face of a simpering sheep, and the manners, but not the morals. I would be hard pushed to write even a paragraph on her endearing qualities.

Yes, she made for a dire queen, a complete and utter killjoy. She didn't last long, though.

Yes, but I prefer to go by Anthony Crowley. Well, I'm usually found at fault for most things, when you get down to it. [Pause] She made a very good queen, Elizabeth. When her time came. You should be proud.

Then it is a most unusual pleasure Anthony Crowley, for I cannot say I have ever made the aquaintance of a demon before, although many have accused me of being such.

... There was never any doubt, she's a Tudor, and she's strong, with my wit and determination, England shall never see a greater Queen, of that I am certain. I thank you for the deliverance of proof positive though.

The pleasure is all mine, and I wouldn't listen to them, you did alright, really.

Considering her predecessor was a raving psychopath who killed hundreds and drove England to a sorry state, yes, she did exceptionally well. She brought it back to as it should have been. [Chuckle] Well, I've seen the monarchy up to 1990, and none have managed to surpass her yet.

Her predecessor, you mean my Henry? I'm afraid, that if you are referring to the dissolution of the monasteries, then I am as much to blame, for it was his need for me that gave rise to Henry's church and England's excommunication from Rome. Without that, Elizabeth would never have been Queen.

But now is not the time for History, as I understand it now to be. For I am blessed with the sun upon my face once more, and I am glad for it.

Have you been here long Anthony Crowley? Do you find this strange land to your liking?

Not Henry, though I doubt you'll find the fact he didn't reign as long as that too bothersome.

I'd enjoy it, you never know when this place decides to send a person home.

I've been here for around three and a half months now. I have to admit, this place is better than the eventual fate awaiting me back home.

[a derisive snort of a laugh] It would seem you know me well. And I intend to, I shall dance and I shall flirt and it shall be as if I am a young Lady, new to court once more. For I have nothing to lose, and everything to gain from my time here.

I really annoyed Hell by helping avert their apocalypse. They were rather looking forward to it, and I err... got a few things wrong.

I am not sure that 'really annoyed' is a phrase that could be attributed to Hell, although I will admit to never having been. Still, I am sure there are more appropriate words that would convey the magnitude of their irritation. Or do you play it down Crowley, for the sake of pleasant conversation.

I think it's best we settle for the latter, there. Some things are best not discussed, they can come out terribly depressing, and I'd rather not ruin your day.

Indeed, I am grateful that you should spare me the details, only Hell could compete with the atrocities I have witnessed, one finds one develops a stomach for it though.

Not a problem. Heh, I've worked for Hell for si thousand years and I still haven't really developed the stomach for it. I'd be worried about myself if I did.
