[after wandering the woods alone in an attempt to find the house (omg scary DX) he finally stares up at the. . . gigantic. . . gorgeous thing in awe o_o then he goes about trying to find the door! eventually having done so, he knocks on it as loud as possible so that she might hear him where ever she is in the house ^_^ ho hum~]

[Bit shocked to hear a knock since...most who know where the house is...live in it. Anyway, she comes down from whatever she's doing, and goes to answer the door. Another surprise when she finds out that it's the boy she met the other night. Offers a smile though as she opens it.]

Shinji, this is a pleasant surprise.

[smiles up at her shyly, blushing a little. she's pretty and nice to him. he keeps expecting to wake up or something XD]

H-Hi, Esme-san, I um. . . Your son. . . Jasper - he told me where you were so I could um - so I could thank you. . . For the other night? It was very nice of you to help someone you didn't even know and uh. . . um. . .

[HOLDS UP PIE]

Th-this is for you.

[Poor Shinji, all the pretty girls he knows are mean >.<. She however, offers a bigger smile and reaches out to take the pie. Looks down at it, wondering what she is going to do with a pie, but perhaps Bella would like it.]

[Steps back and holds the door open for him, knowing no one is around.]

[It's a curse D: He hesitates for only a moment before taking a step inside, twisting his hands lightly as he looks around.]

It isn't much, but it looks the way it does back at home. My son Edward had it requested as a Christmas gift for me.

[Makes her way towards the kitchen, to put the pie into an empty refrigerator.]

Can I get you something to drink? I have...water? [and thats about it]

No, I'm fine. Thank you.

That was really nice of him, though. I didn't know this place could give people their house.

I'm not really sure what it can and can not give. All I know is that my family needs space.

[Leads him into the living room.]

Here, have a seat. You might as well, you walked all the way out here, you must be tired.

[nods] I can imagine. . . You said you had five kids, right?

[sits down awkwardly, looking around now and then, before staring back at her. he's socially retarded :( give him a break.]

Yes, there are five of them, plus Edward's girlfriend, who might as well be part of the family.

[picks up on his nerves]

Do you have anyone here with you from your home?

[nods slowly, looking at the ground]

My kinda partner - er - friend, I guess? A-Asuka. She's been here a lot longer than me, though.

[Brightens up, oh she's so unknowing of Asuka]

Oh! Then you aren't alone. Having a friend is good.

[long pause in which he is quite literally biting down on his tongue. really hates his loss ;;]

We aren't on the best of terms. [wince] But we're working on it. I think.

Friendships can be difficult sometimes, but if she is here from your world then you should try to make the best of it. You have something in common, so I'd encourage you to continue working on it.

[More to herself] Not that my children seem to be....[Smiles] Sorry...got lost in thought I suppose.

[grumbles] Someone should tell her that.

[clears throat and blushes a little]

A-Ah, well - s-siblings aren't always very nice to each other, I hear. So I imagine they're just being themselves, right?

Oh no, it's not them. They get along alright. [pause thinking about Rosalie and Edward, and Rosalie and Bella, and...] Well, mostly, but like you said, thats just normal sibling stuff.

I meant more that there are people from our world here, and well their family and my family have never gotten along very well.

You'd think being in the same situation here...that they'd be able to put differences aside...but..

Sometimes it is. But everything is crazy here, you'd think that there would be more pressing matters.

I don't see how anyone could hold a grudge against someone as nice as you.
