I feel like I should be owning up to everything but I still can't. All those Daily Planet articles act like Clark Kent and Superman are two different people, but me having a secret identity here is a ship that's already sailed. If a few people I know have already put it together enough to come to me about dealing with Prime, how many have but haven't said anything? It's just too obvious now, I'd never be able to hide it here,  but admitting it just seems so... well, it's my responsibility to protect people, isn't it? I haven't been doing a good enough job.

If Robin's right about Prime... I don't even want to think about that.

Sometimes all I want to do is spend time with Lana. I know I shouldn't, because she needs to breathe and I have things to do, and there are a million problems going on in this place, but sometimes it's hard to avoid being clingy.  If I ignored everything just to be with her constantly I'd be selfish and she'd probably ask why.

It's like being a teenager and pining for her all over again, even if she's right there.

[Clark Kent is sitting in the library, staring into space. He looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders, as he usually does when he's alone and thinking.]

[Yuan wanders through, examining the shelves and looking either thoughtful or bored - it can be hard to tell with him. He glances at the young man sitting there, but doesn't say anything just yet. Whatever's eating him is probably none of Yuan's business, after all.]

[Clark's noticed, if only because it's hard to miss someone with bright blue hair who ISN'T some street punk. But, well, it's rude to stare, and probably even more rude to ask]

After a moment, Yuan turns to look at him with vague curiosity.] People-watching, or are you bored enough that you're studying the architecture one wall at a time? [Since he's clearly not reading anything.]

Oh. I'm, uh, here to do some research, but. [it occurs to him that there are no books around him. at all.] It's not going too well.

[a bit startled by that, dragons are new to him. He moves right back in his seat]

[Insert one very lost defense attorney here. He actually looks like a normal person! Except... for the gelled up spikes in his hair, and possibly the somewhat odd fashion statement of a bracelet (http://www.court-records.net/animation/ani-bracelet.gif) on his left wrist.]

This place is humongous! How am I supposed to find anything on the judiciary system if I don't even know where to start?

[And alas, here comes someone who most definitely doesn't look like a normal person. The fox ears and pair of tails probably have a lot to do with that. Wandering nearby, he simply says to himself,]

[... how do people here keep coming up with weird things he HASN'T seen? Animal appendages are definitely new to this not-so-normal "normal person." He just sort of watches Tails, without trying to look rude about staring]
