So, I guess I haven't been around much since the...thing... [ aka hiding in the cave of his room ] but Katara reminded me of what's important here. So I shouldn't avoid anyone.

I'd like it if you guys could meet with me as soon as possible. It doesn't feel right to do this over the journals. I understand if you don't feel like seeing me, though.

I guess I can start once Zuko arrives. [ never really even interacted with Longshot during the curse or...at all lately, so he's not gonna hold his breath for him ]

If he arrives. [ kind of won't blame him if he doesn't show, AND DOESN'T KNOW HE'S GONE YET ]

[ SO BECAUSE ZUKO IS NOT IN THE CASTLE AND AANG ISN'T YET AWARE OF IT, WE SAY HE WAITS AWHILE BEFORE EVENTUALLY GIVING UP AND STARTING ANYWAY! And we can say Longshot is there if the mun wants, UP TO THEM. ]

I guess I'll talk to him...later. [ guilty voice - he said some really nasty things to him, and he sits back down in his spot ]

I'm sure you all know what this is about. Obviously, none of us were ourselves for awhile there. ...Well, some of us, anyway. And I know we all feel bad about it, and are sorry. But that's not why I asked you to come here. I know you know I'm sorry.

But what I really need to apologize for is what happened after. I hid away from you all, because I was scared. That wasn't fair to any of you, to treat you like that. I thought that I was afraid none of you would forgive me. Some of you, especially, I know I was really hurtful to. [ pointedly glancing to Toph, Sokka, and Katara - ESPECIALLY TOPH, even if she can't see ]

But that wasn't it. I was really scared of myself. I wasn't ready to let any of you forgive me, because I hadn't forgiven myself. I'm still not happy knowing something else can control me and make me into something that's against everything I believe in.

[ fidget, fidget ] I guess what I'm really apologizing for is... I'm sorry I didn't live up to your expectations, and for not handling the aftermath the way I should have.

[Katara is so proud of Aang for talking to everyone.. She's really disappointed Zuko didn't show up, and plans to yell at him later. THEY HAVE TO FIND OUT HE LEFT D: She waits until everyone else speaks up, hoping to prove no one would be mad at him]

[she's drinking her tea and her eyes are looking down, but she's definitely listening. can't see him glancing at her but she knows he's genuinely sorry. plus she forgot that aang is so sensitive :( and tends to run away from his problems]

...It wasn't you, you know. This whole personality swap thing. I think I just let things get to me a little too much.

[she pauses, apologizing has always been hard for her jkhsad]

So... I guess I'm sorry, too. To all you guys that turned crazy that week. [she feels awkward and doesn't know what else to say AHAHAH, so just. sips her tea and gives a half-smile to aang, who CAN see it ;D]

[ looks instantly relieved when Toph speaks, but doesn't say anything, giving the others a chance to speak first ]

[pause, the slightest of smiles. you might not know it Aang, but he respects you. takes the stalk out of his mouth]

It was pretty cool of you, to call us up here like this [gestures about the room] and say this face to face.

I know what it's like being made to do thing you don't want to do. I know what it's like forgetting the things that are most important to you. [pause] In this place, as much as we're gonna hate it, it's something that's probably gonna happen more than once.

This was your first time really experiencing it, so hey, it's more than understandable the way you reacted. No big deal, Aang. At least now, you're more prepared.

[sips tea or something, gives a grin]

...I guess. It's hard to ever be prepared for something like that, though.

True enough, I guess. We have to adapt.

But don't let it get to you. Hey, I tried to kill you, and I don't think I apologised this much afterwards. [grin]
