[the following is recorded inadvertently] Well, this is strange. Not only am I waking up alone, but this is most definitely not the inn I was staying in last night. [the sound of rustling bedclothes] Girls? Where have you gone? [opening the wardrobe/other doors] Oh, really, now, leaving like that is just rude. Maybe I'm a bit rusty, but I don't think my performance was that bad.

Mm. The decor here is most unusual, too. Different styles and periods...I knew the French had no taste, but, really, you'd think they could at least pick out things that match.

I do hope they didn't slip something into my wine last night. God knows I don't need something like that to happen. ...again. But especially not now.

Rocco? Where are you? Are you lurking somewhere around here, laughing at me? [exasperated sigh] Now, really, this isn't funny! We've got to get to Versailles before we're left completely destitute!
