[Filtered to the Morally Ambiguous]

I would normally be quite glad to see so many like-minded individuals; those who know they've the power to rule, and who are willing to use it. So many worlds could use a firm hand, and this is certainly one of them.

Unfortunately, it's patently obvious that many of you couldn't overtake a sand castle.

I shall now politely suggest that those who are incompetent at this endeavour remove themselves from it. Any who do not will suffer the consequences.

Leave it to the experts.

Very true. It's almost embarrassing, really. How goes things with your pets?

I believe our Ninth is among those affected by the castle's latest loss. I'll be keeping an eye on him, and you should do the same.

Even Omega?

He actually told me to leave the Master alone. Although, [a pause, considering] I haven't heard from him in a bit either.

No wonder Rassilon took control so easily -- he had one devoted genius to work with.

I think our Tenth has taken care of that little problem. Still, Nine going off on his own could prove troublesome.

I wonder how difficult it would be? He is inhabiting a duplicate of your body, after all -- some type of bonding might be enough to fool the castle into assuming you're the same.

[Five]

[a chuckle] Indeed.

If he's as much like the Master as his current personality suggests, both are equally likely.

[a chuckle] Why thank you, Doctor.

[Five]

Oh, of all-- Doctor?

...Damn.

You know, for somebody who claims this world needs a firm hand, you've done a spectacular job of... well, nothing at all.

Let me know if you actually decide to do something, and I might be able to help with something.

They have a saying where I come from. Speak softly and carry a big stick.

It's one thing to demand something and be able to back your words. But subtle manipulation... doesn't go well together with the threats you make.

Next time, try a little show of force. It goes a long way.

There's certainly a few that won't be a problem for anybody to get rid of. Half-surprised the Peace Patrol hasn't taken care of them for you.

Unfortunately, amateurs tend to have to step in and try and ruin things for the rest of us.

Well, of course. That's what makes them amateurs. Others realize they can make mistakes and aren't so careless.

Image is nothing if it hinders results.

There is that, I suppose. Overall, I find it better to just focus on results and keep a lower profile.

And do you consider yourself an expert?

[identity profile] malachor-echoed.livejournal.com 2008-11-26 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
Centuries? How fascinating.

I saw nothing >_>

Death? Death is a failure. Perhaps only a momentary one, but I still consider it to be a failure. You must still be refining your methods.

[this so isn't right, part of Lucy's mind wants to say, but then again THIS IS THE KIND OF SHIT THE DOCTOR PULLS ALL THE TIME]

(She tried to kill a 12-year-old girl. She's morally ambiguous.)

...Oh no.

[A bit too calm.] Nothing you would understand, nor be concerned about.

[She's not dropping her transformation until it's all over. As far as she knows, she's alone in her land of normality.]

Perhaps. However, until what ever is happening is over, you cannot be trusted.

When this is over you will understand why.
