[Filtered to the Morally Ambiguous]

I would normally be quite glad to see so many like-minded individuals; those who know they've the power to rule, and who are willing to use it. So many worlds could use a firm hand, and this is certainly one of them.

Unfortunately, it's patently obvious that many of you couldn't overtake a sand castle.

I shall now politely suggest that those who are incompetent at this endeavour remove themselves from it. Any who do not will suffer the consequences.

Leave it to the experts.

I believe our Ninth is among those affected by the castle's latest loss. I'll be keeping an eye on him, and you should do the same.

Oh, they're generally well-behaved - quite well trained, if I do say so myself.

He has been acting quite confused; I've been talking with him but it's been a while since he responded.

Oh, most especially Omega - he's a bit like a puppy, really. Give him a biscuit and a pat on the head, he's devoted for life.

No wonder Rassilon took control so easily -- he had one devoted genius to work with.

I think our Tenth has taken care of that little problem. Still, Nine going off on his own could prove troublesome.

I do wish I could take him with me, when I leave this place. Not that I don't have my own, but he's in his own class.

I wonder how difficult it would be? He is inhabiting a duplicate of your body, after all -- some type of bonding might be enough to fool the castle into assuming you're the same.

You know, for somebody who claims this world needs a firm hand, you've done a spectacular job of... well, nothing at all.

Let me know if you actually decide to do something, and I might be able to help with something.

The fact that you think I've done nothing proves just how well I've done it, Mr. Stark.

I could very well have dominated this castle in a few months, but it's so much more rewarding, lasting to cultivate.

Besides, I'd have been quite bored after.

They have a saying where I come from. Speak softly and carry a big stick.

It's one thing to demand something and be able to back your words. But subtle manipulation... doesn't go well together with the threats you make.

Next time, try a little show of force. It goes a long way.

Oh, doesn't it? People can have different methods for different sorts of obstacles - and there are those here who know precisely what I'm capable of.

If certain upstarts don't take heed, it will hardly be a challenge to handle them.

There's certainly a few that won't be a problem for anybody to get rid of. Half-surprised the Peace Patrol hasn't taken care of them for you.

Unfortunately, amateurs tend to have to step in and try and ruin things for the rest of us.

Well, of course. That's what makes them amateurs. Others realize they can make mistakes and aren't so careless.

Oh, don't say that, it will damage our impenetrable image.

Image is nothing if it hinders results.

It really depends on who you're projecting that image too; some will need to see you as infallible, while others will need to know you have made and learned from mistakes.

There is that, I suppose. Overall, I find it better to just focus on results and keep a lower profile.

And do you consider yourself an expert?

Well, I have been doing this for centuries.

Death? Death is a failure. Perhaps only a momentary one, but I still consider it to be a failure. You must still be refining your methods.

Death is, sometimes, a necessary sacrifice. If I think that of others, why not myself? I, after all, will return to continue my work.
