I would say that I need some friends that aren't complete blithering idiots - and assholes, to boot - but that would imply that I actually want friends, or that certain people were my friends in the first place, when it's quite obvious from their words and actions that they weren't.

Honestly, I should have left my job ages ago, once I'd got what I needed. It would have been better for all parties involved. Independent research is much more my style.
