Nothing in particular. Watching as you and Pein decimated Konoha with little effort. Not personally, of course, but a clone sufficed to give me an idea of what was happening.
Pardon my curiosity, but what purpose does Uchiha Sasuke serve in our Organization? You've merely implemented him into our arsenal for assisting us in collecting the final Tailed-Beasts, correct?
Yes, that is correct. He serves a... further purpose that I am currently unable to say. I only ask for your patience and trust until I am able to properly inform you as to what the circumstances are surrounding him.
[has always found Madara a shady figure, and not just because of her mistrust for any authority that is not of Pein's; can see the underlying power struggle between the two men behind their mutual respect and benefits, and it unnerves her that she is not entirely certain of what Madara is capable of]
Business as usual, then. I had been hoping you had some information on the status of our mission, but I'm confident that He has succeeded.
You Uchiha are all very enigmatic. I trust you know what you are doing, of course.
I suppose that would be preferable. If anything, I simply request that the nin of Konoha be avoided until further notice and to not create any unnecessary trouble otherwise.
Although I realize that is not a problem with you, I am more concerned about the actions of Deidara, which I am able to deal with myself.
[pauses as she's ... slightly ashamed of her earlier actions, hoping Madara does not comment on them at all; is usually more practical, but was taken from the heat of torture and battle and had some bloodlust ]
Please take this time to act as you wish; from what I have read, actions here have no repercussions in our own world. It will serve no purpose to train or work excessively.
You have a chance to see if you are making a mistake or not. Not that you would be able to rectify the choice upon returning home, but the opportunity itself is interesting enough to indulge. Think of it as a personal social experiment, Sasuke. There are many chances here for you to see what was once available to you that you will never be able to have once you leave.
The Leaf are here, are they not? You will never, after going home, be able to return and have the bonds you once did. Why not indulge yourself, if only briefly?
Nothing at all? But even your brother is alive. That is certainly a chance you will never be given in Konoha, even if you suddenly decided to betray Akatsuki.
To each their own, Sasuke. I was merely giving a suggestion to you, that is all. After all, I wouldn't want you to be making the wrong choices, now would I? What sort of relative lets their own blood do that.

[dictated in return]
My sentiments exactly.

Konan. Are you well?
[Madara]
Since we're having a little rendezvous, perhaps you would not mind telling me just what you mean by 'interesting'?
Konan

Perhaps it is in our blood. Has he been difficult for you?
Madara
I can handle it. I'm just waiting for Pein.
Konan
Madara
Please don't tell me you're going to do that odd impersonation again.
Konan
Most thankfully those days are behind me, I can not see why it would be required in this place.
Madara
Sasori was incredibly talented. To this day I have no idea why he let it go to waste. I am convinced he did not even try.
[just ... does not even want to comment on Deidara, has no idea how to deal with his type ]
As long as you can get Deidara to behave.
Konan
[ just pauses for thought ]
I can assure that will be no problem at all.
