It's not that I don't remember any of it. It's that it hasn't happened to me yet, assuming what you say is accurate. People here are brought from different points in time. For example, Euphemia li Britannia is alive here.

Please be careful what you say to Suzaku. He is from an even earlier time than I am. Beyond the point of Euphie's death, he knows almost nothing. I would appreciate it if you help me keep it that way.

There is something else...

I knew that this day was inevitable, but I still dislike it a great deal. The castle takes something from every person upon their arrival here. It could be an ability, a physical item... or a memory.

In my case, it took all of my memories of you, assuming that you actually are C.C. The only reason that I know anything about you is because of what Kallen and Rolo have told me. For that reason, I have some notion of what you are to me...

In the meantime, I will do my best to come to know you again. I know that you were an important person to me before. I do not intend to let this place strip that away from me even if it has stolen my memories.
