Somebody dumped some baby dogs behind a shop. So I took two of them. I thought you would have liked one. If not I'll keep it. [Looking grim still. Would be more than happy to keep them both, really. He would.]

[she ventures closer... baaw, it's so cute, but this is so odd coming from Kain! Though she figures he's trying to make amends for... lots of stuff]

I... no, I'll take it. I've never had a pet before.

[Yeah it's a shameless ammends bribe. Somewhat sad to have to hand the second dog over. Puts it in Rydia's outstretched hands, and watches as it yawns. Bawwww even Kain's smiling at that!]

I think Fang is going to be a beast when he grows up. [Ttly missed Spanner's point of telling him they'd be small dogs.]
