[ he's just returned to his room. almost urgently, he scrambles to find his journal, picking it up and bringing it close. he's only slightly out of breath from having run the entire way. it's a breathlessness more brought on by excitement. ]
Okay. Here's the deal. I left Bella's room and decided to walk around a bit to blow off some steam. I was almost down to the first floor, but stopped on the third. I don't really know what drew me there, but I felt compelled to stop on that third floor. It was like I didn't even have a choice.
That's when I saw her. Rosalie Hale. She saw me, and our eyes met and held for just a second.
At first, I think I wanted to harm her. Ridiculous, I know. But then, this... glowing heat flooded throughout my body, something I'd never felt before.
Everything inside me came undone as I stared at this stunning blonde vampire as she was just entering her room, shutting the door behind her. All the lines that held me to my life here in Paradisa were sliced apart in swift cuts. Like clipping the strings of a bunch of balloons. Everything that made me who I was--my love for Bella, my love for my dad, for my pack back home, La Push, my name, my self--disconnected from me in that second and just... floated up into space.
But a new string held me where I was. Not one, but a million. Not exactly strings, more like steel cables. A million steel cables all tying me to one thing, to the very center of the universe. It's not gravity holding me to this earth. It's Rosalie Hale. Beautiful, breathtaking Rosalie Hale.
Guys. I think... I think I've finally imprinted. I'm in love.
((ooc: tl;dr Jake's experiencing his second loss. The castle has made him believe that he's imprinted on his arch enemy, Rosalie Hale.
And yes, I did in fact plagiarize the imprinting scene because it's so ridiculous that I couldn't NOT have him say the same thing. I'd forgotten how much I hated that scene. xD
Rose-mun, Bella-mun, you've been waiting! HERE IT IS.))
