They've been made here in the past, Avatar. They worked for a long time. But now I simply don't see it as an option -- your side kept breaching the agreement, and I see no point in involving myself in an truce doomed to fail.

Why would he promise something like that?

What troubles you?

I think the most troubling thing right now is that people continue to have their hatred here. Why can't that be left back in their respective worlds instead of making this a more negative place?

Many here know how to be positive and peaceful. But, as shy childen are, they cower at the prospect of seeming naïve.

I think I'd rather give the impression of being naïve rather than hateful.

Often times it is, but nothing can ever be assumed. At least in asking there is a chance.

I completely agree. I wish other people could see things that way instead of giving up.

Everyone sees matters differently. For some, it is easier to just give up and let fate take it's course.

The problem with 'fate' and 'destiny' though is that others would use these words as excuses for actions that they could very well have had control over, but did nothing to prevent it.
