Stop hogging the blankets, Susan! [tugging them back]

[rolls over cuddling close to Peter]
no subject
Well that's not my problem. Don't get so close, it's too hot out for that.
no subject
Susan, why don't you come over here? I can give you an extra blanket if you need it.
no subject
Really? You mean it?
[Climbs over Peter and runs across the room to Caspian's bed. Jumps up into his bed and lays down on his pillow]
Caspian is nice to me Peter. He'd make a better older brother!

Just go to sleep.
no subject
B...b...but I love you Peter.
no subject
I didn't... I didn't mean that, Su. I'm just tired, that's all.
no subject
You mean you do still love me?

I think he was being sarcastic and cranky.
no subject
Good...cause I don't want anyone else to be my brother.

What about Ed?
no subject
[smile]
Naw I love him too!

It is late you two - you should be sleeping.

Can you tell us a story first?
no subject
You can tell her a story, if you want.
no subject
What kind of story do you want to hear, Susan?
no subject
Tell me a story that you learned as a kid.
[No opening there at all. >.>]
no subject
Erm, alright. . .
[clears his throat]
I learned a lot about the Kings and Queens of old as a child. Would you like to hear about them?
no subject
Yes please. I like stories about Kings and Queens.

Well - when I was very little, my nurse used to tell me the stories of the Kings and Queens of Narnia. They were banned from my home when my father died, but they were always my favorite.
There was a time in Narnia when it was winter for 100 years. There was never any Christmas and the evil White Witch who made it this way was keeping the protector of Narnia - Aslan - at bay with her powers. The fear and lack of hope in the people caused her to hold power over them and Aslan could not come to them if they did not hold faith in him.
[LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE INSERT HUR.]
[several minutes later and most likely many "Yes, this could so happen Susan, stop talking"s. . .]
And after everything was said and done, they had a huge coronation for the children at the castle. I think the two most famous of the four were High King Peter and Queen Susan - they were the oldest and did the most, after all.

You must be making it up. You called them Peter and Susan...to make us feel like we are a part of the story.
no subject
High King Peter...
[looking over at Susan]
You don't know that.
no subject
I guess it might be possible for it to be a coincidence.
[Back to Caspian]
Which one is your Queen?
no subject
[pauses and shifts very. . . uncomfortably]
Erm, Queen Susan actually.
no subject
I thought so. She was the older one.
no subject
Is she very very pretty.
no subject
She is the most beautiful woman in Narnia.
no subject
no subject
It's sooo romantic.
no subject
I - I suppose.
no subject
What about Peter though? If Susan was really beautiful like a Queen is suppose to be, he was probably the bravest man there.
no subject
He wasn't called 'High King Peter the Magnificent' for nothing. He went off and fought giants and all sorts of creatures that would try and disrupt the peace of Narnia. And later he would lead entire armies into battle against an evil dictator. With. . . a bit of help.
no subject
I bet Queen Susan wasn't just pretty. I bet she was brave too! Wasn't she Caspian?
no subject
no subject
Of course she was brave. She fought in the battles against Miraz as well - she was the best archer in Narnia because of the bows Father Christmas gave to her.

It's very pretty. It has my favorite flower carved on it.
