It seems that I'm no longer in the Red Keep, King's Landing, or even Westeros. Thank you, Lord Ornitier for helping me understand.

I--my room is very beautiful, but very alien. There is this large porcelain container, with a terrifying metal tube that extends upwards from it. There are various knobs which I think you might turn but...I've been too afraid. There's also a similar porcelain bowl rooted to the ground, that is full of water. Is this where one must bathe? I admit that I have been nervous to try bathing here by myself--I fear the King was much too busy to send me handmaidens to assist me.

I--I'm also ashamed to admit that I haven't been able to find a chamberpot. I've fashioned one of my own for the time, but--. What am I saying! This isn't appropriate conversation for a lady!

This journal is a magical communication device, right? Ser Neuro, if you are ever available I would be most grateful for a tour around the castle. Because of the snakes, and the..strangeness of everything...I've been too afraid to leave my room without an escort. However, I'm afraid I'm not...I'm not currently able to receive male callers.

Perhaps if a gentle lady of the castle, or some handmaiden or servant isn't too busy...they could help me...bathe...if it's not too much trouble...

I was born in Winterfell of House Stark, second child and eldest girl to Lord Eddard Stark and the Lady Catelyn Stark, formerly from House Tully. From the north lands of Winterfell, I traveled south with my father to King's Landing, the captial of the Seven Kingdoms where I stayed as a royal guest--daughter of the King's Hand, betrothed to the King's heir Prince Joffrey. I--I lived in King's Landing until I woke up in Paradisa. I--I hope that answers your question, my lord.

Oh my goodness! No, no! Please don't bathe in the porcelain container with water in it! You don't want to do that. THAT is the chamber pot. You...uh...GO in it and then close the lid and turn that little handle at the top. It'll make a really big noise but ....it gets rid of...um...the stuff.

The tall porcelain thing is a sink. You can turn the handles for water to come out. The one on the left is hot water, the one on the right is cold.
If you want to bathe use the really big porcelain thing in that same room. The handles for water work the same way as the sink.

My lord, surely you jest. Or is this place really so full of magic that you can force water to appear from tubes?

And how on earth can the water be hot? I see no fire!

And how horrifying that the chamber pot is so close to where I sleep! I had imagined that perhaps their was another room for the chamber pots.

You seem very informed, my lord. Do you know where I could find candles? The nights are very dark. Or..or maybe food?

The water is brought up with the tubes that go into the porcelain objects. It is heated at the source of the tubes.

And you can just close the door between where you sleep and where the big chamber pot is. It's called a toilet, for future reference.

Candles are unnecessary. Do you have objects in your room that look kind of like lamps but have strange glass balls in them? Those should have a tab or switch on them to turn or push. Light will come out of that glass ball. There should also be a switch near your door. If you flip it lights will come on as well.
Though if you really want candles sleep on it and in the morning there should be some hidden in your room somewhere.

Food is on the first floor. There is a kitchen with strange ghost-like beings that will serve you. Don't be afraid of them. They wont' hurt you.
