I... I think I’m pretty hip for a tortoise my age! Oh ho ho! But you young things have such a weird way of talking! I don’t feel like I fit in anymore, so I’ll try to speak your language.

Maybe I’m not cut out to be young, still. I’ll stay old.
Nasty weather out today, but that makes the fish come out! Oh-ho... don’t go out into it unless you have an umbrella and a rainjacket! We don’t want cases of pneumonia!
And the houses! Tom Nook has had them all remodeled. That crafty fellow... don’t know where he got the money... most of you haven’t repaid your mortgages... but you’d better appreciate it!
And I hear K.K. Slider will be putting on a concert tonight, at the train station! I hope you all attend! He’s a celebrity!! Maybe I can get his autograph!!
