Back home she required a daily dose of a substance that as far as I know - can only be found on our world, or she'd die.

But for some reason here, she doesn't require that.

I believe that it's okay to let it go for now. I'm not sure how different your body is from mine, but I've felt no ill effects since coming here. And any I did experience were related to the castle.
