Today is the thirteenth day.

The castle brings the dead back to life after a fortnight -- therefore, he should be back sometime tomorrow.




A small part of me wonders if the castle would be so cruel as to take him away from us, during his death. How do we even know that he hasn't returned to our world?

But I cannot afford to lose faith now. I shall keep whatever glimmer of hope I see close to my heart.



And from now on, I will keep Zuko close, too, if not closer. There are lessons to be learned from every experience, and this is no exception.

[she's standing by the entrance of the house, waiting for Katara to meet her]
