Third Wish

Hey question.

Say a person was recently dead back home, and they show up here again and they're all alive again, right?

What happens if/when they go back? Do they get a second chance back home or do they get all deceased again? Anyone know?

....They can do that?

Dead should be dead. This place is no good.

[identity profile] thatlittlepest.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 10:45 pm (UTC)(link)
No good. No good at all.

I'll have to fix it.

When things are wrong you have to fix them or everything turns bad.

Yeah you are. That's not a philosophy, stupid. It's just how it is.

I've wondered quite a bit about that.

I suppose it depends on how far the castle's power extends. Can it change the path of different worlds? Can it create parallel universes?

We're missing too much information for any definite answers.

Well, not if they happen naturally, but to force it... The castle pulls people from reality - it doesn't alter it, so far as we know.

[faint chuckle]

Yes, I know what you mean. It's a shame we can't ask anyone - no one ever remembers. Assuming it was them in the first place.

...Your world is quite different from mine, I think.

I am, yes.

Either the castle wipes their memories, or they take them from a different timeline.

Well, there weren't any demons. ...Well, there were a number of beings people mistook for demons, but were really only from a different planet.

[laugh] Hello. I'm the Doctor.

Usually you'll only end up with a headache.

Exactly like aliens.

More or less. I chose it centuries ago.

May as well just enjoy the time you have, hmm?

[identity profile] broken-clock.livejournal.com 2008-03-23 01:25 am (UTC)(link)
Well, to a human, yes.

Thank you! I've become very fond of it.

I assume vengeance demons aren't?

[identity profile] broken-clock.livejournal.com 2008-03-23 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
Quite a lot, actually. It's one of my favourites.

Yours is lovely, too. Anya...Sanskrit for inexhaustible.

Why did you? If you don't mind my asking.

[identity profile] q-ueenly.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I don't know. People who go back don't remember that kind of thing, so...

[identity profile] q-ueenly.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Basically.

Why, does it matter?

[identity profile] q-ueenly.livejournal.com 2008-03-23 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
[sharp inhale followed by an 'oops']

Oh. God, I'm sorry. I had no idea.

When did it happen?

[identity profile] q-ueenly.livejournal.com 2008-03-23 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Great.

Still in the future for me then.
