...who here considers themselves a strong warrior? I am in big need of good sparring partners outside of Sasaki Kojiro.

Wierd, but I cannot handle the beds here. I much prefer the floor. A couple of blankets there and I'm much more comfortable. I suppose upbringing shows, huh. I mean, I travel all the time back home and sleep rough, don't even have a wooden floor most of the time, man. Sleeping on the ground in the mountains is normal for me. Silken sheets and a fluffy bed like that, I just... don't feel right in, despite it being the 'luxurious' thing.

Miyamoto Musashi, hm?

[identity profile] bloody-doctor.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
I believe I could be considered a "strong warrior."

I'm afraid I'm not one for "sparring," however.

Scalpels, swords, and blood.

I would count myself among the stronger warriors here.

A good impression to leave. Vergil.

A pleasure, Musashi.

I agree. Some exude that sense of strength just from the words they speak or write.

The search is just as important as the discovery. If one cannot retain the persistence necessary to find something or someone worthwhile, then what hope do they have of ever becoming truly powerful?

You don't want to fight me? I'd be there for you, whenever you want me.

[identity profile] swallow-cut.livejournal.com 2008-03-22 06:19 pm (UTC)(link)
... I see. You want to become stronger so that you're ready for me? I'm glad. I'll do the same.

You mean you want an opponent who will spare your life?

[a muffled laugh] I think that would be best, yes. Very earnest fellow, isn't he?

We could spar, if you like. I wouldn't count myself a warrior but I've become skilled with a sword in my time.

As for beds...we do tend to prefer what we're used to. I think you should do whatever feels most comfortable.

...Yes. Yes, that's one way to put it. He doesn't seem to process things the way most do. Most humans, anyway.

Of course. I've missed it a bit, really.

[chuckle] Perhaps you could donate it?

Bloodlust seems to be the only desire he understands. It's possibly he was raised to be a killer - a weapon, rather than a person.

I'm sure someone would want it!

[quietly]

I'm glad as well. It would be a pity, really - skill wasted on that.

Everyone can change, if they try; though that's the key, of course, they need to want it.
