Damn... I knew I should have asked Yuffie I could keep that Restore materia.
[a muffled chuckle]
Still a little sore after that fight.
[okay, so he got a little unlazy to make a private entry too]
I almost forgot just how good of a fighter Reno was. Guess not having to go up against him for two years will make one's memory a little fuzzy on those facts. But...he had been acting like his old self, so it's no wonder he'd fight like that.
[there's a couple minutes of silence, followed by a low 'hmm' of thought]
Maybe I should have gone a little lighter on him.
[another pause] No. I had been goin' a bit easy on him. And he was the one who started the damn fight anyway, so he had that beating coming. And the worst attack I did to him was a Blade Beam. Not like I summoned Knights of the Round or used Omnislash on him.
That woulda been over doing it.
Or something.
Mm...
[Cloud then proceeds to roll over and close the journal, since he's gonna take a nap]
