Quite a few newcomers have been arriving lately. How are you settling in?

I wonder if I can claim to be familiar with Paradisa by now. Unfortunately these books still manage to take me by surprise... Maybe I should give it another month or so.

It's different from what I'm used to, but... I think most people could say that. I guess I like it, though. It could be a lot worse.

You're right. I'd have to say that it's quite different from what I'm used to as well.

It's a very interesting place. If I didn't have some work to take care of back home, I suppose I could consider this a vacation.

That's how I feel about it, too. That, um... I have important work to do back there, but it's hard not to look at this like a vacation sometimes.

I spent my childhood underground. When I was first on the surface, I thought it was paradise... but in retrospect, it's really quite barren.

It seems to vary. There's no real trend in the numbers, as far as I've seen in the time I've been here.
