Attention to the people of Cair Paradisa:
As we are sure you all are aware of, certain events these past weeks have caused a number of upheavals and disturbances in this world. While we come not bearing words of an absolute resolution to these problems, we have come to a conclusion that something needs to be done (a conclusion made by many.) While all of us are stuck here, we might as well take charge of our own protection and prevent further chaos.
We would like to suggest something called Cair Paradisa Volunteer Committee: a congregation of people working to protect the residents of Paradisa and, in turn, help prevent further catastrophe such as the past events.
This program, as the title suggests, is completely voluntary. People who join will aid in patrolling the castle, report any signs of suspicious activity and take action against those who wish to disturb the peace.
Rewards and payment will not be given for those who aid, as we find it difficult to give something that the castle can probably grant for free. This, however, is subject to change as time goes on.
Those who volunteer will be asked to partake in a confidential interview with us (Selphie T. and Leon L.) This interview will allow us a look at level of competence and reliability in those who wish to help.
If you are not prepared to speak with us of past experiences and all angles of your battle techniques (important information in order to make these patrols and the organization, in general, stronger and more efficient) then we ask you to please not waste our time. We will be asking questions that may seem intrusive.
Also, please bear in mind that we reserve the right to turn down those who we find do not meet the standards required to partake in this program.
If you have any questions or comments, write them in response to this journal entry.
If you would like to join, leave a response with your first and last name. We will respond to you in a timely fashion and set up an interview date.
For those who cannot fight, don't be discouraged from joining! There is plenty of work to be done by those who have more brainpower than muscle power.
Love and peace,
Selphie T.
CPVC President
Leon L.
CPVC Vice-President.
