[a long silence]
Finally over.
It seems the castle takes great enjoyment in reopening the same old wound.

My thanks and apologies to those who had to put up with my recent loss. If you were to ignore everything I had said and done during that time, it would be greatly appreciated. I am still looking for a match, however, lest my skills will rust.
Why are so many of the castle's residents looking forward to the closest holiday? Have you forgotten what happened last time?

Perhaps the decorations for this holiday will be more aesthetically pleasing than the ones from before.

A routine is something to be grateful for. I had hoped at least humans could understand that.
Ah. I've never looked.

They want what they can't have, it's in their nature. Do you want any company, or do you feel that you need some time on your own?
They were orange and black.

[a pause;]
I would very much like your company.
