[a long silence]

Finally over.

It seems the castle takes great enjoyment in reopening the same old wound.

My thanks and apologies to those who had to put up with my recent loss. If you were to ignore everything I had said and done during that time, it would be greatly appreciated. I am still looking for a match, however, lest my skills will rust.

Why are so many of the castle's residents looking forward to the closest holiday? Have you forgotten what happened last time?

It's too stressful to live like you're anticipating horror at every celebration! Besides, whatever happens is going to happen no matter how you feel about it beforehand, so cheering up isn't going to hurt anybody.

Really? Doesn't seem that way to me.

Haha! Maybe.

I'm Soujiro.

What happened the last time?

You know I am always up for a sparring session.

I honestly do not know the answer to your question, though. The holiday in itself seems a bit odd, but perhaps these people are so hungry for a distraction that they prefer chaos to boredom.

I assume you're doing better?

Here, there is nothing for people to work for. Thay have idle minds, and so they feel more alive, I believe, when things are disorderly or breaking their routine. The majority, at least.

Perhaps the decorations for this holiday will be more aesthetically pleasing than the ones from before.

Hmm. You know what I meant.

They want what they can't have, it's in their nature. Do you want any company, or do you feel that you need some time on your own?

They were orange and black.

Well, the last one wasn't so bad. Besides, Christmas turned out okay last time round.
