Hi there. Did you... [he's staring down at Nataku's work again] Did you make all of this?

[Nods] I did because I'm not interested in playing with the other children at the moment and reading.

It's really impressive! [He smiles.] Kinda reminds me of where I'm from.

[Johnny doesn't seem to mind, as he's watching Nataku continue building.]

Yeah. Are you from Earth, too?

[He walks into the lobby, but makes sure to keep a good enough distance away from the cookie city; he doesn't want to wreck it or anything.]

Yes. [Slowly, he took a small break from his clock tower and he turns to look at him] Are you leaving?

Really? [He seems glad to have met a person from Earth.] What part of the world are you from? I lived in New York.

Uh... [He blinks a little.] It's pretty interesting to watch you build that tower. Do you want me to? If I'm bugging you, I can.

No, you're not bugging me. You're entitled to leave whenever you wish. It's going to take me a long time to finish. I don't possess an artistic ability, so I'm not interesting for you.

Wow, Japan? I've been all over the Americas, but I haven't been to the other half of the world yet. What's it like there?

I have to disagree with you there. I don't think I'd be able to pull something like this off! [Smiling again as he looks at the mini city, then he says with a laugh,] I'd probably mess up and make one of the buildings fall over.

Ah— I've got an idea! You keep doing your thing — I'll be right back!

[And he leaves the lobby to get something up in his room...]

[Confused expression as he left, saying it to himself] Americas?

[Stops what he's doing and waits for him to return]. . .

Can I take a few pictures when you're done? [He holds up the camera in his hands to show Nataku.]

[Very surprised, then observes the camera, and then nodded] I used biscuit because I knew the insects will feed on it later.

[This would be Johnny making himself comfortable in a seat nearby, still observing with interest.]

[After a while, he realizes he didn't introduce himself, and does so to break the silence.] ...Oh! I'm Johnny, by the way. Johnny Garland.

My name is Nataku. I was named after a god who was born with a body but no soul.

[He blinks a little at the explanation, then smiles.] Nice to meetcha, Nataku.

[kicks back and watches the tower being built, occasionally inspecting his camera or something around the room]

Eheh, sorry about that.

[He walks over to Nataku and hands him one photo. For such an old camera, the photo is very clear and seemed to develop almost instantly. Johnny pockets his own copy.] Thanks for the souvenir! Let me know when you finish your Ninth Wonder and I can give you another snapshot before the bugs get to it.
