[Rufus's room is, of course, immaculate. The furniture is all modern (hence very minimal) and extremely stylish, in tasteful dark colors. He's asked for a large table for the meeting, and several chairs sit around it--one at the end for himself and the rest on the sides with the opposite end empty. Rufus himself is already seated in the chair at the end. He's decked out as usual in layers of black and white (mostly white) looking well put together as always. He's already been cured of the Geostigma, but one could probably surmise from the fact that he spends most of the meeting seated that he's still not feeling completely well yet.]

[After everyone files in and takes a seat he leans forward and folds his arms on the tabletop in front of him]


Before we get to any new business, how are the reports coming along? Any updates, or anything I should know about immediately?

{Rod is sitting up straighter than he normally is ever willing to. His eyes jump between Rude, Tseng, and Reno's faces, uncertain what Rufus is expecting of the Turks, but not willing to open his mouth first until he's sure. }

It would appear there's nothing that can be done, and I would prefer none of us catch anything. Keep clear of it if at all possible. I may change my mind if someone here comes up with some kind of a treatment or cure, we'll see.

Very well, my next order of business is information within our organization.

As these losses apparently have the capacity of being quite debilitating, I would prefer to know everyone's and have everyone else know before we proceed. That way if they could affect the rest of us in any way, we'll know well ahead of time. I apologize if this information is redundant to anyone.

Well then, moving along.

I thought it might be of interest to let you all know that I've spoken with Sephiroth.

I informed him of his role in the destruction of Nibelheim, as a show of good faith, though I professed to have no knowledge of why he destroyed the town. Should any of you be asked, you have no knowledge of such either.

At the conclusion of the conversation, Sephiroth offered me his aid as a loyal member of ShinRa. Thus, unless the situation changes drastically, I currently consider Sephiroth an ally of ours.
