Well sorry, it kind of scared me too!!

It's... the same as the rooms. Bloody walls, walls and floors consisting solely of chain link fencing...

[a pause, and some clattering of him tugging at a gate, before forcing his way through]

.... and random gates separating one half of the hallway from the other. Really dark, too...

The elevators look like they've broken down suddenly, too.

Well, let's not chance it. As hazardous as the stairs sound at the moment, I'd rather you stuck with them in case the elevator decides to take you to hell.

Yeah, of course. I'm not sure if it's even working correctly, much less could... 'take me to Hell' as you said.

At least I have some weaponry to help me out with traveling around.

The castle has become a lot more difficult to traverse since the shift. Many floors only have one way off of them, and the gates, though easy to take care of, are still tedious.
