[Alan clears his throat before beginning:]

A few months ago, the Doctor set up a list of volunteers responsible for making sure that the children on each floor would be accounted for in case of an emergency. Because in the past, a child was left behind and placed in danger - and that can't happen again.

That was all taken care of before we got locked out of the castle last month. With the new floor plan and the changes in rooms, we need to update that list of volunteers and their responsibilities - especially with the coming threat of a castle fire.

Volunteers are responsible for keeping track of the children on their floor and evacuating them in an emergency before going to help defend the castle or get to safety themselves, as well as alerting the residents on the floor they're responsible for that it's an emergency and evacuation is taking place, to help those who aren't able to defend themselves. [Alan himself is just an ordinary guy, after all - might as well acknowledge the possibility.] Usually evacuees are escorted to the TARDISes, but with those out of the castle for the time being, the safest place right now would be Caritas. I know this can't hold everyone, so we're also trying to secure other areas.

I would like to see two volunteers per floor and per tower, in case one of them is unable to assist for any reason. Please let me know if you can help.

[The journal begins broadcasting with a whump as it hits the ground and falls open. What comes through is definitely Katara's voice, just - higher.] -- oh no! No nooo no no no!

[And then a crash as the chair she's balancing on tips over, dumping her onto her rear and toppling at her side. The wail that comes through the journal is frustrated.]

I can't reach anything anymore! This loss is stupid!

[Anyone who happens in the kitchen will find her struggling to reach.. everything.]

So, you know what's the best part about coming on an expedition just to take a look at some tomb and just help guard the entrance because you're not really a fan of being in enclosed underground places, but end up getting trapped in there anyway because magic winds exists and then go on a totally awesome adventure where you get to be bitten by carnivorous birds, creeped out by old castles and abandoned rooms, and attacked by monsters on a train?? (And just to clear up, I am not being sarcastic. About any of that!)

I'll tell you what. The best part of it all is not being able to shower for days.

For those who knew him, Asch returned to his world. [And his fate. She doesn't want to think about it, since she's far from able to change things. If she could-- would it be like averting the Score? How much could she even--?

Many of Paradisa's adventurers and seasoned fighters left on the expedition. We should be alert and ready to act if something happens.

[Peace Patrol Prison]

[There's a visitor casually striding toward the row of prison cells in the Peace Patrol's prison. Not that anyone is currently aware of it. Veiled by an illusion, the visitor passes by each cell, fingers trailing along the bars of the cells. Prisoners can likely hear soft taps echoing from the bars, but the source is invisible.

Passing by each cell, the visitor only stops when it reaches the end of the row, turning toward a peculiar cell made of glass. The visitor smiles, finding exactly who they were looking for.

There's a light tap on the glass, Joshua.]



(ooc: As the title says, forward dated to Sunday! For now, the visitor is still veiled so that other prisoners and guards cannot see or hear them, but don't worry. They'll show their face soon enough and others will have a chance to react to what is about to take place. We just wanted this to get done early so we could have a decent head start on this side. ;)

Edit: Joshua's out of his cell at this point, and the alarms will sound any time now. A guard is free to spot the escapee and perhaps his accomplice, and maybe some noisy prisoners can say something, too!

EDIT X2: ALARMS ARE SOUNDING! Joshua and his accomplice have fled the scene! Maladict was the guard on duty, and she's been locked into Joshua's cell for the time being. Anyone at all is free to hurry down and see what all the ruckus is about.)

[Apparently, when you're raised in a military-like compound and not exposed to pop-culture while you grow up -- you miss out on a lot of things. Max has recently realized that she doesn't exactly know all of the movies that Jo and Julia grew up loving. We'll skip over the part where Jo and Julia know all the words to Lawfully Pretty and skip right to where they're trying to explain to Max that hard work does pay off and that the core message is really about accepting you for yourself, and that the sequel deals with a side of animal rights. Which, they figure Max will appreciate.]

We can watch the next one, too. [You know, in case Gwaine isn't back yet. She glances to the boys, because she is not putting in Die With Difficulty again. This is supposed to be making Julia feel better.]
