...boring~

Come on, Paradisa. Where's the excitement. You're going to be hard up to beat the demon-leveling-the-city thing.

[ ooc; Axel's in a crappy mood. Still. :( Hence the boredom and general annoying-ness. ]

...what motivates you?

For me, it always was just to become the best at what I do. Become the greatest swordsman there ever was. The core of that has not changed, but the methods of getting there, the definition of the greatest, it's changed a lot lately. I suppose that's down a lot to Sasaki Kojiro. But there are others, who are good people, who have helped with that as well.

Otsu went home a long time back now. I hope she's okay...

Oh! Are we back in Narnia already? I thought we were going home.

But this is wonderful! We get to stay in Narnia! [a lengthy pause]

... Peter? Edmund? Susan? ... Where are you?

Not made for construction work I'll tell ya, guess this is what I get for offerin' to help. Maan I smell worse than Tongari after you stick 'im out in the desert for two days...

'he hell is with the animals lately? Seen a talkin' bird, two of 'em actually, startin' to wonder if my sanity is still in tact. And a bear... a movin' teddy bear, now that aint right. We jump on the crazier buss while I wasn't watchin'?

[clears throat] Well, um, welcome. We're all gathered here today to honor those that lost their lives last week. If everyone would please bow your heads for a moment of silence, then those who want to speak for a friend may do so afterwards.

((ooc: Keeping it simple, here, folks. Just post a new comment for each person that was killed. If you want to have a responce, or to add on to someone's speech, respond to that specific comment.))

I hope it's not too late to join the restoration efforts. I wish to lend a hand, after all that has befallen the townsfolk.

Oh...? Have I gained a neighbour? I really should apologise for my carelessness. Before the chaos, I was so distracted by accustoming myself to the strangeness of my surroundings that I did not introduce myself to the people I have been living beside! Those on the fifth floor are more than welcome to join me for tea in room 511 at any time. But please, warn me first!

[The sounds of a quill scratching away in another notebook]

[Mutterings of spells, equations, etc.]

[Scratching stops]

Ron, Sirius, how are the brooms working out? I hope you haven't wrecked them. They're only for testing right now, after all. I'm still working out some minor kinks in the spell combinations. It's really no wonder that broom makers are pretty scarce; they take quite a bit of attention.

Cedric, I'm working on a third broom in my spare time. After I've completed it, might you be interested in giving it a go?

[Recorded; various sounds of fridge rummaging]

This place is huge, gotta have something interesting in the here if I just loo-- Hey, hey, didn't think they'd have stuff like milk tea here! Wonder what else they've got lying around...

[a quickly approaching whooshing noise, the sound of the fridge door being closed, the a surprised shout and the sound of something wooden colliding with the nearby wall at a rather high velocity. There's a pause as the broom clatters to the kitchen floor]

What the hell?! What's the big idea, letting your...broom...? Your broom fly around the castle?

[another pause as he grabs the broom off the floor]

I'm guessing this belongs to someone? It's down in the kitchen.

[ooc: ;3; Hope that's okay?]

For the first time in five months I think things are starting to finally look up.

... and that's got to sound awful after what happened recently. ... Yeah, that probably wasn't the most carefully thought out thing I've ever said.

[another pause and it's all crossed out, you can still read if you squint]

So, anyone up for some drinks? That's good, safe, non-offensive fun.

This castle has proven to be...unique. The way it draws people from various worlds merits some form of research, though I doubt that I would make much progress, considering the low likelihood of the more experienced residents knowing much beyond the locations of various rooms, the now damaged town, the forest, and the 'loss' ordeal. The latter does explain why I have such a large gap within my memories. Still, I find it hard to believe that I was ever part of an "Organization", though that may explain the cloak. As for the name "Zexion", I still haven't a clue why I've chosen such a title... Then there's the fact that I've somehow become whole once more. Strange, but, at this rate, I'm honestly not surprised.

Regardless, I suppose it's best not to dwell on such issues. It's doubtful that I'll be getting any straight answers, though there is one thing that I have been curious about. Namely, how often do disasters occur, such as that "Demon" attack?

I've decided to use this journal to record everything that happens on my adventure. I still don't know where it came from, but I'm pretty sure it's mine. It doesn't look like anyone uses this room.

Anyways, this is my first day after leaving the Islands. I'm on a journey to find Sora and Riku, since they never came home again. So I decided to go looking for them again! I'm not sure where I am, though. I don't even remember how I got off the Islands... I think I'll go look around now and find out where I am. I wonder what happened to Pluto...

Person with the big room, are you there? I want to meet your friend!

And Suzakuuu, those floats were really really really good. We should have them again sometime!!

How come people here aren't always down in the kitchen?

[A few gunshots in succession, followed by a noise frustration]

[Dictated]

Six weeks in a cast affected my aim more than I thought it would. Looks like I'll be here for a bit.

[A pause, followed by a small sigh]

I just wish Rosette was still here; she'd be the perfect person to help.

[A few random noises and another shot]

Stupid castle and it's stupid... something.

If you were born into a country involved in war, when do you typically begin being trained for combat? Go ahead and satisfy me with an answer, I'm just being curious.

[all recorded: someone's left their journal and window open and left the room (somebody must have done with the number of people in this castle), and not far from said window come the following noises:

Wooooooooooosh!

The sound of something long and wooden hitting something smallish and feathery!

Flap, flap, flap!

SQUAWK! Various angry bird noises that have bits of vaguely profane English thrown in!

Flap, flap, flap! ... And it's gone. For now.]

About the Archive

"Paradisa Lost" is the archive of what the journals contained between December 1st, 2006 and January 10th, 2012. On that final day, Paradisa issued new journals, so that the residents could fill them up again. While there are still residents around who have old journals, we have chosen to preserve the old journals here for muns' reference and history.

"Lost" in the title refers to both the old journals that the residents once kept, and also to our move to Dreamwidth from the original Livejournal community, where Paradisa started. It is a fresh start for muns, as well as for the characters.
