Where did this cold come from...?

Of all the tortures to inflict on people this is surprisingly mundane. Though, I suppose that's because I'm not one of the victims.

O-Okay, I can understand getting sick when my powers were suppressed back in Mahora....

[a few dictated coughs]

But how am I sick now?!
Entry tags:

Is this normal?

This is just terrible. Bad things just keep happening around here. Locke is gone, so I can't ask him about the gaps in my memory. Now it seems there is some terrible disease going around. Is it normal for people to get sick? I've read some people talking about a "cold and flu" season. I don't know anything about such things.

I want to help. I can't just do nothing.

How [cough] ... worse. I'm [groan] worse.

But I [hack, wheeze] got help yesterday.

Yeah. This is exactly where I wanted to spend all my time. At least I can splash water on my face when I get hot.

And I'm not the only one that caught... whatever the hell this is.

Scene 2; Fading Hope

[This would be the sound a strained breathing, slow shuffling steps, and then the journal being tossed onto the desk. The door shuts just afterward, and then Hamlet sits down heavily into his seat, collapsing on the sturdy desk. The following is dictated in a raspy, extremely tired voice.]

All night...

All night, I searched for you. The woods, the castle, the town... Everywhere I was allowed, I looked. And what was it for?

An astounding nothing.

I will not admit... that you are not here. I simply... must get some food and water in me before I can continue to look, by chance that you are on the move and are simply in a place I've already looked. Maybe you're looking for me too?

... The bed looks so tempting... But I cannot. We are stuck here, and a apart at that. Juliet, Romeo, Puck... I will find you.

((OOC: If you didn't get it, Hamlet was out all night looking for his friends in every possible nook and cranny of Paradisa. >_>; Some random people should be like "Dude wtf go to bed, retard." ♥))

20: Sick aliens

This would be so much more worthwhile if I were back at home. 'Cause then I would get to miss a day of school! But I guess this is pretty fun, too. Sitting in bed all day having the ghosts bring me stuff is a pretty good way to spend a sick day. All the Sumo Slammer I want!

Hey, I was just thinking... what does a Heatblast sneeze look like? Or Stinkfly? Or Diamondhead? I would totally love to check that out! It'd be kinda fun! ... But, I'll experiment with the Omnitrix later. Kinda tired right now.

You never hear of heroes taking sick days. Guess if some bad guy decided to stir up trouble, a hero would have to step in whether he's sick or not.

Episode 41

And Nathan was making fun of me for becoming a nurse.... I've been trying to keep track of this plague since it started. However big this place may be, once something starts spreading it can go fast. And the plague is definitely doing that. So obviously those who haven't caught it yet need to be careful.

As for everyone who's already sick, the usual things should help: bed rest, fluids, all that good stuff. If you're able, get down to the clinic and we'll help you. If you can't, let us know and we'll come to you.

Scene 3; Speed Speed! Team... 1/5 Bacchus.

[A few swooshy noises, and an overdramatic laugh. Hamlet is now attempting to cover more ground faster on his AT, using the stairs when needed as he does a final sweep of the castle while looking for the rest of team Bacchus that he remembers]

Hahaha! Well, castle, if you're going to hide my friends and take me from home, at least you were kind enough to let me bring my AT with me.

Ah--!! It just hit me... I do believe that I saw a familiar name or two on the doors I was checking over last night.

Is anyone else here knowledgeable in AT?

Chapter 6 — Let the Sleeping Death Seep Through

[Belle tries her best to speak clearly to the journal, too tired to write, though her words are often broken and interrupted by harsh coughs, worse than the night before.]

Thank you to the boy that healed me several times during the night; I—

...hope you aren't tired from all those trips you made. I appreciate your help, but... whenever the magic faded, my — my illness came back. It feels like I didn't get any sleep at al—

And — thank you, Ichigo, for bringing me to the clinic where I met him. I hope you didn't—

[Belle coughs too close to the journal; something dark red splatters on the edge of a page, but it is wiped away quickly.]

How are you fairing, Sun— S-Sunstreaker? Can Autobots — get sick, too?

(OoC: Belle's gonna die in her next post. D: That'll be later on tonight, or tomorrow morning, depends on how much happens until then. The boy she's referring to is Elk, as I think roleplaying with myself feels silly. >_>)

How frustrating. Yesterday afternoon I noticed that I was suffering from similar symptoms to the other castle residents, so I made sure to follow the usual advice, and drink lots of water and keep rested and isolated. Then, when I felt a little better, I healed myself completely. But I was sick again when I woke up this morning.

I must have bad luck. Two strains of the same illness floating around, and I catch them both in the space of a day. In any case, I've healed myself again, so I'm sure I'll be fine from now on. It does make me wonder about the other residents, though.

What is the point of hoping to escape this place, when some other version of us may simply return to imprisonment without our knowledge? Can there truly be any permanent escape under such conditions?!

[rough coughing]

We may well exist both here and in our own worlds simultaneously, neither version knowing of each other's existence. How many of us have visited this place multiple times? Such thoughts are highly perplexing!

Dear friends, how may we peacefully sleep when--

It would seem that this sickness is rapidly spreading from person to person. Something must be done about it as soon as possible to contain and eliminate it.

Would any of the ill be willing to allow me to collect some samples from them? I would not be using them for anything but to study the sickness that has spread about the castle, so that I might learn something useful for what's causing it and finding treatments.

What perfect scenery. It's rather easy to grow accustomed to endless desert when that is all that's available, but seeing some living trees and plants does make a pleasant change. Not to mention, I always have enjoyed sunsets. Perhaps I'll be fortunate enough to see snow or rainfall soon. It's been a while.
