Many strive to maintain the illusion that they fashion their little worlds from a point of genesis and then exist in them in whatever manner they desire.
But the reality is that they venture into an environment that already exists, and learn to interact with it.
Paradisa is a prime example.
We cannot control this place.

'Annoying' does not even begin to explain it.
Especially when you could control your previous world with the slightest of notions.

No, but it is...
Severely limited[visible for a moment, then obliterated]The environment is not suited well to my abilities.

I have tried, and failed. Those with powers equal, or greater to mine have had no such success either.
This was simply an expression of... frustration.

So it would seem.
[Filter; Ruby]
The castle gave me... memories.
Mero
Ruby
It had puzzled me before, how they acted towards me when I first arrived...
Doting, eager to follow commands.
Back in the Matrix, where I am from, I ruled much.
They were also under my command, there.
But why did those memories fade?
Mero
I must admit, what bothers me more is that you've received them back.... I have ...my suspicions about what is happening to this place. None of it bodes well for me.
Ruby
Everyone with any inkling of intelligence in this castle has suspicions.
I would expect no less of you.
Indulge me, s'il vous plait?
Mero
....but this place appears to be... it's as if it's in the throes of death....
Ruby
It does seem to be glitching rather often.
Perhaps it is simply restarting.

It is much like playing in someone elses garden~ No matter how pretty it looks, or how welcoming it seems, or how familiar it's terraces and planters, the children will have have the garden to call their own.
The children are very fond of thinking things are theirs, though, so they rename the plants and replant the gardens and try to shape it to their fancy, but ultimately the children are only trespassers in the grounds of some larger entity~

That is how children get hurt.
no subject
And then the children will blame the landlord.
no subject
Unless they are mortally injured, and unable to blame anyone.
no subject
Mhmm~ But then the duty of assigning blame will fall to family, friends, peers... anyone really. Blame always falls on everyone but the victim, of course.

All we need to do is find the right code.

The castle only lets me get so far.

Not far enough.

We think they operate on the same principles, which means we just need to find the red pill~

It is not so simple as that.
I am beginning to suspect that the castle is a virus-based application.

Obviously something else causes the changes to ourselves, however, so to control the disease would be to control the symptoms~

You need not worry yourself, petit ange.
Mere ramblings with no answers to be found.

All right.
[thoughtful pause]
I hope you find answers?

Your words are true, on a basic level, but also in essence quite simplified.
My world was different.

Always change. Change to suit, yes?
