Autumn. I always miss the heat of summer but I believe seeing the trees on fire in such a way makes it worth the loss.
...unfortunately autumn is the season of death, however... I don't look forward to winter...

Red. There's no conceivable way in any world that this change could naturally take place this rapidly that I'm missing is there?

...there also appear to be two boys running around at...unnatural speeds. They have a little trail of leaves following them (or trying to. MY are they going fast. I couldn't even keep up with them if I chose to try. And here I was under the impression that I was fairly fast. silly me. Very impressive). It's sort of amusing to watch. I'd hate to get run into by them though. I imagine it would sting rather significantly.

Figures a fire element wouldn't like winter. It's my favourite season.

... There's no scientifically explainable way these season changes could be happening without killing us. Seasons are usually caused by the revolution of a planet around the sun and the tilt of it's axis. Before, Paradisa showed no sign of such happening, and if it's started now, to experience such a rapid season change, everything on the planet would die for numerous reasons.

Winter has always made me feel like I'm at home. I'm sorry to hear that. It's pretty much the only season I tolerate going outside. It's the only time of year not punishing on my skin.
... I'm what? Inclined towards ice? I am quite good with blizzard spells and I enjoy the cold more than- Where did you get that from?
...

... [inscribed sound of rustling as he checks the notes he had been taking the past few days]

... It's possible. Rapid season changes, disappearance of the ghosts and towns people. There's also been a noticeable halting of losses.
Though if this place dies, what would come of us? Perhaps we'd get sent back to where we came from. ... ... Good for some, the end for others. Like myself.

[ooc: Lawl, for the record, Even had no idea Vexen was an ice element, thus his confusion.]

Of course, summer doesn't usually pass by in just a couple of days. ...or however long it was summer-y. I was out for a bit, after all. Did I miss any other seasons?

Strange. Very strange. Sort of like a seasonal sneak preview...

You've been here longer than I have, Ruby. Has it had seasons before?

Which means it either got bored and decided 'oh, time for a change!' or something's off. My money's on option number 2.

Thought it might be. In any case, I'll look into it and get back to you.

Nah, you're right, probably not. But at least I'll know I'm on to something once I start speaking gibberish.
