Paradisa certainly has its terrible downsides, but who can deny its charm? It seems that one plague on the mind are the questions: why have we been taken here, and perhaps how, and where is here?
Why: certainly there must be a purpose to us being here, or to being removed from our previous worlds, no? If there were no purpose then it would not have happened.
How: there must also have been a means, but what it was, we can only begin to speculate.
Where: while we hesitate to assume our world is the one most similar to Paradisa, forgive our bias; it's inevitable. It makes the most sense to us, understandably. How else could such different realities converge if not through virtual reality? For that matter, how else could we - my twin and I - exist?
When it comes down to it, it seems how might be useful: then one might return home, or bring their family here. Where ties in much the same. But what about why? Why do we care why?
We're asking you: what do you think, residents? Does why matter?
...On an equally curious but perhaps less dreary note,
Soren, did you enjoy the tea?
And Aeris, the cookies? Check outside your door.
[ooc: Aerismun, cookies are in a basket outside her door. Lawl. Also, Paradisa, pretend post this was a touch earlier, thanks.]

Knowledge of why could lead to new possibilities. And besides, having gained something doesn't leave you in the exact same condition you were before. Place, yes, but the situation has changed.

What's that saying, ignorance is bliss?
You've a point, Soren. But what if the situation is worse now that you know its nature? Or perhaps you believe any knowledge is good knowledge.

.. that's very kind of you. Though you might have to forgive me~ Reputations don't just grow out of nowhere, you know. So I'm still going to be cautious.
The cookies are good, though. [scribbled smiley]

But we beg to differ: the why may influence the means, but generally is not enough to imply substantial details from an outsider's point of view.
