Still feeling...Bored?

Although I suppose I shouldn't give you a hard time for it, especially since you aren't bothering the ladies.

Especially since I find myself with very little to do as well.

This is rather awful of me to say during a time like this last week has been but...Is anyone else in need of something to do?

Sort of. The robots were okay, but now I just have time to kill, again.

It was an invasion, yes, but...It kept me occupied for some time.

Now though...

I'm not one for the activities many of the other residents seem to take to.

None taken, I'm too young for that kinda stuff anyway. [:)] Sometimes the parties are fun though, as long as there aren't too many weird adults around.

I never really was one for them. back home...

It was all very formal.

I'm a knight, however. Even attending simply to stand guard, everything was very proper.

Oh... like Steiner. Yeah, I know what you mean. Steiner seemed to like the ~~food~~ parties a lot, though. Are all knights like that?

Me? I'm not anything like nobility. I'm probably even less than a peasant. [laugh]

I think it just depends on the person. I think my friend enjoys them a great deal more than I do, and he's a knight as well.

Oh? Well that doesn't make you any less of a person though.

That'd probably make you more like Dagger. [:)]I wonder if your friend is anything like Steiner...

[brief pause, then a laugh] Thanks.

[paaaause, until it clicks] Oh, right, because you're a knight... sorry, not a lot of people call her "Lady" any more, but the people who do seem to know her well. She is noble, so I guess it's just natural.

It's hard for me to know sometimes, in this place, and I feel it's safer to assume...

Huh, I wouldn't worry about that. Most noble people don't mind if you call them without their titles, and the ones who do mind aren't usually very nice.

I'm beginning to see that part more and more here, although the second I can safely say I saw a bit of back home.

It's just hard to break habits, I guess.

Yeah, me too. I couldn't imagine calling Queen Brahne just Brahne... she'd probably go berserk. [laugh]

Well, I guess it's not a bad habit to have. Not a lot of people are used to hearing "lord" or "lady" around here. It's really different from home.

I seem to keep running into the other kind.

The ones that are tired of hearing it. [a chuckle]

It's why I named my dog Lady, actually.

Me too. Well, 'cept for Steiner, but it got to the point where no one called him "Sir" anymore.

You must be getting sort of frustrated then. [laugh] Mine's Harvey - kind of a weird name, but I've never had a dog before, so it's sort of fun!

Harvey's kind of nice.

I've never owned a dog before now either. Just always was too busy.

I'm glad the library had some information on training them.

Being a knight must get busy... 'specially when the nobles you're guarding are really adventurous.

Yeah, I didn't know anything about keeping pets before I got Harvey... now I feel like I've been taking care of him forever. [laugh]

Maybe Harvey wouldn't mind meeting Lady?

Whenever she feels like waking up, the lazy girl.

I'll bring Harvey along then. Puppies sleep a lot, fortunately.
