Kanda was fairly good friends with Misa from what I could tell. And Axel and Kanda are best friends. If Kanda doesn't decide to come for whatever reason, Axel might stay with him instead of going, might go anyway. I don't know.

There's no shades of grey here. Even if you got human buddies and you get along with Red real well, it's not like it changes or makes up for everything else you do. Like Sora said, you fight for the side that wants to destroy the world, yeah? That'll mean destroying everybody in it along with it. Sure, maybe you're on some kinda break here, but once we go back, I bet you're not gonna hesitate just because you got a couple human friends.
