While I've been unable to kill him thus far, I assure you that my largest problem regarding the other option would be finding that many people in one place.

And when I say I've done nothing I mean I haven't destroyed the town or the castle and I've killed almost no one. I have no idea if it will change or is changing; there's nothing I can do for Jenova, if that's what you mean.
