As I have still had no luck in finding my flock, I am hoping Miss Lana will allow my assistance in caring for the horses. I feel rather empty without an animal to care for. Haine has told me that the speaking creatures are nothing to be concerened about and after thoughtful prayer I feel that he is right. God's ways are not the ways of man, as Father has often told me. If the Lord chooses to grant speech to the birds of the air or the fish of the sea, then who am I to question it?

I have not heard nor seen Father since my arrival in this place. I would ask Cain of his whereabouts but Cain does not seem eager to speak with me. I hope I did not upset him.
