I hate to join the bandwagon, but I'm going to have to agree with the other residents that aren't getting in any fights or such.

This place is just repetative.

... I was going to say this was something like Infinity Fortress, but it seems that the castle took that. Shame. At least I have confirmation on my price now.

It's expected of programs to continually resume doing the same tasks, even if there are a few different variables... As if I could care less. The enjoyment of watching the tenants repeat themselves has long since faded.

And your actions were, and are still fun to observe. Perhaps I'm trying to see another reaction to them besides sheer panic and disorder.

We are quite accustomed to repetition; perhaps programmed to not be bothered by it.

Such a reaction, however, would be rather refreshing, if throwing.

I meant programs normally are controlled by the one that they were programmed by. If another person is not allowed permission to write to or execute the program, then they cannot do a thing to it. Then there's always the maverick programs and viruses that are dealt with in a system analysis...

You are correct. We were once an integral part of the system, a program controlled. We, however, among others, were unplugged, so to speak, and serve our own will.

Regardless, our nature has not changed. We do best what we were originally programmed to do, or told to do. But we would like to point out that humans are not very different.

Unplugged and allowed to move at their own whims.

From the point of childhood, people are told what to do. They follow what they see, they do as they are told, and are shielded from affairs that should not be deemed 'proper' in society. So indeed, we are all programs in a sense.

On the topic of learning, we're not entirely surprised - and, strangely, rather disappointed - that despite all we've told and shown of ourselves, of our nature, nobody has learned the ways they can so easily bend us to their will.

My main weapon of choice happens to be next to me, so all the castle needed to do was make me move towards it and there you have it. No more words from me.

You had to think fast where I was from. If you too slow, then the 'monsters' of the Beltline would destroy you. Of course, there were other ways to keep information safe, but those are much less savory.
