[Today might not have been the easiest Christmas Eve, what with some less than desired encounters earlier today, and it hadn't been so easy to find what he'd been subconsciously looking for. But, he's found it, all the way in Paris, two whole oceans and a continent away from home.
Now that he has it though he doesn't know what to do with it.
...Guess there's just one thing to do.
He heads towards Colette's place, having passed it multiple times before while patrolling out of some kind of strange developed habit. Once he's there he knocks on the door, carefully trying to balance a bakery box in his other hand.]

I never really had a family to bring one home to of course. But I thought... well, I thought you might like it.

With her loss, Colette had no idea who her family was. She'd always had friends here that she looks at like family, but... Something about the way he says that, she realizes it's special. So when she smiles it's one of the purest, happiest smiles she's had in a while as she holds the box to her chest (carefully though, so she doesn't squish it)]
