[ Up on the first level of the Eiffel Tower is Kotetsu wheezing after walking up over three hundred sets of stairs in the freezing cold. He's huddling close to his partner before shivering and wheezin' at the same time. ]

[ thinking this over seriously. or as seriously as an oyaji can... he certainly loves barnaby like a family member. but to be someone who could stand next to tomoe, well.

he's bringing his hands down and shifts uncomfortably. tomoe's his number WAN but is it even possible to have two NAMBR WUNS???? but he's already used to sort of 'loving' barnaby. being oyajikin is hard. ]

[watching all of this carefully, not sure if he should say anything while kotetsu looks so contemplative and obviously conflicted. however it almost looks like he's forcing himself to try and come to an answer and that's not what barnaby wants.

Kotetsu. If you can't answer this now then please don't say anything. I would prefer for you to take the time to be honest with yourself than to come to a rushed conclusion and only regret what you say later.

[ blinks out of his thinking when he sees that hand reach for his. he takes it without arguing and looks up to address barnaby. that annoying song he keeps hearing on the radio keeps playing in his head. [ a deep breath before shivering a bit at the cold still ] Like you said, me and Tomoe are just always gonna be together. [but i gotta let it goooo. standing there and nodding as he takes in everything kotetsu's said. to be honest he's more than okay with not having any type of answer. most people would probably prefer to have a yes over anything else but he couldn't possibly be that selfish, especially considering kotetsu's wife and his obvious feelings that remain for her.
