Who: Gwaine and whoever else is at the house B)
What: Snowed in and shirtless. At least there are no strange creatures that could cause havoc hanging around...
When: Today!
Where: The house
Rating: C for crack.
There is a Gwaine sitting on the couch with all the warm animals he could wrangle sitting on the couch with him. Or in the case of Ruffy and Allen the dog sitting on him sitting on the couch. He would have minded the weight from the two dogs, but as he was cold and they served as excellent heating blankets, he didn't bother pushing them off. Oliver lies beside him, his head on Gwaine's lap. He'd tried to join the duo on top of Gwaine, but three dogs was pushing it. The sad whine when he had pushed Oliver off made Gwaine feel guilty, but he rather liked breathing. Meanwhile, Elyan thinks himself king of the pride and is on Gwaine's shoulder, playing with his hair. Except in lion-speak, playing is synonymous to batting and clawing at the hair, hissing and crying every once in a while.
Gwaine sighs. He despises what his loss reduces him to sometimes.

He grins conspiratorially.

On his way into the kitchen, he doesn't notice the flutter of tiny wings outside the window.

"It's big. Why'd My Knight pick it?

He glances over his shoulder at her, shuddering slightly at the sudden cold. That he's standing in front of the open fridge isn't helping matters.

Shifting slightly once she was in the kitchen, she tried to cover up her guilty look. "Have you ever not remembered? There's a word for that, when you don't remember. Is there a word when you don't remember what didn't happen?"

Unnoticed, a fairy flits through the open window. Shaking the snow off, it spots the two in the kitchen and beams.

"Mm... Like the retrograde."

He turns back to face her, smiling. He shakes his head as if to dislodge something that settled on it. Like magic fairy dust.

"Not so far away."

He closes some of the distance between them to reach out and touch her hair. He's been wanting to do it for a while, but never dared. Now, with this sudden pleasant feeling buzzing through him, he feels much more at ease.
