[open] the dawn is breaking

Who: Those participating in the Paradisa Scouts plotline!
What: As dawn breaks after the Sunday evening meteor showers,
When: Monday morning, 10/17
Where: Anywhere you're at, that's where we are!
Rating: PG-Ridiculous

[ The sun breaks over the mountains, light cascading across the lands with long fingered shadows shivering as they're forced back from their choke-hold over everything. Bright as this message should be, it seems like some of those who lay in their beds, moved around their rooms, or otherwise existed in the usual state of things found part of them, too, reluctant to greet the dawn.

Thoughts of irritation, or dastardly deeds, stir in those minds, soon to find ways out into reality. These people find there are other names they wish to go by, powers they had never had before blossoming and demanding to be used.

But dark powers aren't the only ones stirring around Paradisa and the City Royale. For a few, this dawn brings a greater joy and calling than any they've known before. The calling... to the Light Rock Warriors, Defenders of Justice, and Paradisa Scouts. Forces of Darkness, beware! You're not the only transforming, pseudonymous people waking up today! ]

Natsuki is quite suddenly awake. Something is different. She sits up and casts an eye around her room. Finding nothing out of place, she looks within and yes. There it is. This new sense of purpose, of direction. This need to right wrongs, where every act is a mission bringing her closer to her goal. None of this goddamn coasting she's been doing lately.

She grins and gets out of bed, ready for a new day and back in her element.

Once she opens her door, her fellow light warrior is waiting with a fresh, hot cup of perfect coffee. "Morning! Ready for another fantastic day in the annals of truth and light?"

She flashes Barney an appreciative smile as she takes the coffee.

"Of course," she says as the smile turns into a smirk. "They won't know what hit them."

"Not with a team like ours on the lookout!" He beams - sure, he was only a mild-mannered barista, by day, but ... by night, Sailor Venti Green was a force to be reckoned with. "Evil's gonna have a negative carbon footprint by the time we're through."

"We do pollution now?" she replies, a bit musingly. Sailor Ice Silver Crystal could use a global warming theme.

"Why not? I mean, it's hurting the world!" Finally, he was finding someone on his wavelength. Groovy, man.

There's an amused noise.

"Take pollution down to zero, hm?" She's not quite sure how feasible this is; sounds like a lot of outreach work to her.

fffffffffffff I love you for that SO MUCH

"Absolutely! Especially since, when we work together, our powers magnify. Come on, we can do it!"

She frowns, still not quite convinced.

"But we have bigger things to worry about." Like those Heavy Metal losers.

He pouts just a little. "What's bigger than the safety of the planet itself? ... I guess you're right, though. Think globally, act locally!"

She chuckles a little. Ah, Barney. You and your compostable cups and fair trade coffee.

"We'll need a lot more scouts for something like that."

"There are enough of us that we could split the grounds up into easy-to-clean quadrants. I've seen them do it at Central Park!"
